I am so sorry to put bad reviews to Da Luau’s food. I used to like their lava plate very much. Full meat with tremendous sides. But the recent couple of orders were not satisfied. Today's Lava plate just put me to the edge. Beef is so tough. Every single piece of beef is impossible to be chewed and swallowed. Long rice noodles and potato mac salad were good as before. But meat. That's too much for me to enjoy them.

Great team, really nice people, BUT the food quality was not good. It was previously good but recently down. The chicken was a small sliver of chicken and the beef quite chewy. I understand that business is hard and costs up, but $22 for poor quality is not acceptable.

It was ok. Nothing special. The plate I got had chicken katsu, beef, and spicy pork. I got it with salad and “Mac potato salad”. It was all fine but not to die for. My friend got the pan fried dumpling appetizer and it tasted like they were frozen and then heated up.

Had the pancake/Kona coffee special at 10 am on a Thursday, ends 10:30 am on weekdays. Only one other customer. Added a side of Portuguese sausage. Pancakes were nice and fluffy with a hint of sweetness. Came with butter and syrup. Coffee was smooth, as Kona coffee is normally. Portuguese sausage had a hint of sweetness with a touch of spice. Good bargain and yummy! Service was prompt and friendly. Simple, delicious and short wait to get food. Update: Price has gone up. 2 pancakes and a coffee is $4.99, and Monday chicken bowl special lunch is now $8.99, but the food is still yummy. Loved the food! My mom had the Na Ka Oi combo with fried rice, I had the pork bowl, and my sister had the beef bowl. Have also had a salmon combo to go. All were flavorful and generous portions. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you come before 10:30am on weekdays, 6:30-8:30am weekends, they currently have a $2.99 pancake special which includes coffee, dine-in only. They also have a Monday chicken bowl lunch $6.99 special. Casual, order at counter and food is brought to you. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Very enjoyable experience dining at the Hawaiian Grill. The combo loco moco was fantastic, how has no one thought of providing all three meats at once before? The flavors together was superb. Highly recommended!
